Camp-ish: Childhood vibes, Adult Amenities – The Hygge Edition

Hygge (pronounced “hoo-gah”): a Danish and Norwegian word that means creating a warm atmosphere, enjoying the good things in life, and feeling a deep sense of cozy contentment.
Camp-ish: a word we made up to describe the fun of being in nature, doing crafts, playing games, making new friends and sleeping in nature while enjoying things like a bed and home cooked meals, yoga and a custom sauna experience.
Join us this October for a weekend escape where you get to be a kid again with the luxury of what your adult self enjoys. Set the responsibilities aside and enjoy a day filled with movement, games, crafts, and the main event – a custom sauna experience in the woods! We’ll be centering the fall vibes around the concept of Hygge so think warm, cozy, connected and joyful. Time with real humans in real life in a beautiful natural setting.
Choose to hang for the day or immerse yourself in the full experience with a two night stay. Pick from an A-Frame, Yurt or HOBBIT HOUSE! You are also welcome to bring your own tent and do some legit camping on site.

Saturday Day Pass: $198
10am – 10pm

Prices below are per structure, for two nights, in addition to the $198/person Saturday activities fee. You will need to purchase a day pass for each person in addition to the accommodation. You can rent a full structure for yourself or your group — or, if you’d like a solo bed, we can pair you with a roommate. If you need a roommate match, email us first at alison@happypeoplehike.com before booking.
Main Yurt: Sleeps Up to 6 on two full size beds + twin bunk above – $600
A-Frame (3 available): Sleeps up to 4 on a full XL mattress in sleeping loft + two XXL camping cots with mattresses – $400
Hobbit Home: Sleeps up to 3 on a Queen bed + pull-out couch – $500
Tent Camping: Bring your own gear $60

All guests have access to:

Cancellation & Refund Policy
We know plans change! Here’s how refunds and credits work –
30+ days before the event: Full refund, minus a $25 non-refundable booking fee
14–29 days before the event: 50% refund
Under 14 days before the event: No refund, but you’ll receive full credit toward a future event
No-shows: Not eligible for refund or credit
Transfers: Can’t make it? You’re welcome to transfer your spot to a friend or family member at any time before the event, at no charge — just send us their name and contact info.
Weather & safety: This is an outdoor, elements-based event (fire, hiking, sauna, cold plunge). If we need to cancel or significantly alter the event due to weather or safety concerns, the event will be rescheduled and or guests can receive full credit toward a future event. Refunds in these cases are not guaranteed but will be considered case-by-case.
Lodging: Overnight structure bookings follow this same policy.
All guests will be asked to sign a liability waiver prior to the event, given the sauna, cold plunge, and fire activities involved.
Event is appropriate for ages 18 and up.
