We hope you enjoy our LA Compost Interview with Compost Hubs Manager Enjoli as she shares how they “Empower Communities by creating spaces for local compost access.” LA Compost diverted 1.8 Million LBS of Organics from Landfills in 2023 and they are able to create impactful life changing experiences for communities along the way. Cooperatively with a diverse network of partners within LA County, LA Compost co-creates spaces for local compost access and engagement, restorative practices, and community empowerment. Community composting takes a collective effort. Some of our team has been lucky enough to volunteer with them at the Cottonwood Urban Farm and seen their work firsthand.
“LA Compost restores the Lost Connections between Soil and Each Other.”
