We need your help! We are looking for our next organization to team up for the rest of 2019.
We recently ended our campaign with Make A Wish Michigan where we donated $1 from every shirt sale to their Trailblaze Challenge. In the past we have put funds towards veterans groups who hike to combat PTSD, alternative education programs to get kids outside, animal rescues and the National Forest Foundation.
With every organization we support, we want to ensure the funds are used appropriately to further their cause and that their cause aligns with our mission. Ideally, we would find a group that we can both financially support for a period of time but also help in other ways. Possibly as an in person volunteer or advertising help. We want this to be a partnership!
So that is where you all come in. Who do you know and what groups are out there doing amazing things? Please take a look at our full mission here, and start brainstorming what groups are out there that may be a good fit. Once you know who you’d like to nominate, email us at [email protected] with a brief explanation of how you are connected to the organization, what they do and why you think they would be a good fit.
We will choose one organization to team up with for the rest of the year, but will keep a list of all submissions for future possibilities. And the winning nominator will get a Happy People Hike sticker as our way of saying thank you. We can’t wait to learn about all of the great organization out there doing great things!
