Outdoor Non-Profit Interview:
Mojave Desert Land Trust

In this video we interview a vital member of the Mojave Desert Land Trust (MDLT for short) team. Mackenzie the volunteer coordinator joins us to share the work and impact made by MDLT, what some of the ways in which you can get involved are, and understanding the importance and mission of the protection of the Mojave and Colorado Deserts.
Per the MDLT website: “Our mission is to protect the Colorado and Mojave Desert ecosystems and their natural, scenic, and cultural resources. Our vision for the California desert includes dark night skies, clean air and water, broad views and vistas, and an abundance of native plants and animals.”
Mackenzie shares stories of her outdoor journeys including in Zion and growing up in Arizona, other outdoor non-profits she loves, and a glimpse inside life on the team at MDLT!

Friends of Grand Rapids Parks

In this video we interview two vital members of the Friends of Grand Rapids Parks. Stacy the Executive Director and Lauren the Director of Programs join us in this chat. Per the Friends of GR Parks website: “Each of Friends’ programs helps us increase equal access to the outdoors and empower people to cultivate vibrant parks, trees, and green spaces.”
