Natural Connection Hiking Series – Hoffmaster
Spend an evening in nature connecting with yourself and the natural world around you. We will begin our hike with a half hour of silence as your hike leader walks you through a program designed to heighten your senses and connect you back with yourself. The second half of the hike will be open for conversation with other participants as you use your heightened awareness to facilitate a connection with your fellow humans. After the hike there will be an opportunity to learn how to connect with the trees and speak directly with them. Each participant will receive a gift pack that will include a journal to use during your time of connecting with the trees.
There are 4 opportunities to join in this experience. Each event will be the same program, but the program is designed to flow the needs of those present so it most certainly will not be the same experience each time.
Cost is $12 per event and participant will need to sign up for each event indivudually. Please note the date on the Eventbrite that you are signing up for.
The program is appropriate for ages 16 and up, all gender identities. While we strongly encourage getting those younger kiddos outside, this particular setting is meant to focus on silence and inner connection so we’d ask you leave the younger babes at home.
The hiking will be at a slower pace, this is not meant to focus on physical exertion and would be considered beginner level. With that being said, 3 of the locations are on trails with hills and you can expect a 1-2 mile hike. Riverside Park is flat and paved. Please reach out if you’d like more specifics on terrain and physical requirements. Beginner can mean different things to different people and we want to ensure you are comfortable and know what to expect.
Participants are responsible for their own water/snacks as needed. Events are rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable. In the event of unsafe weather conditions, the event will be canceled and a refund offered. One gift pack per participant for the series.
